Very fine-tipped TWEEZERS
SEWING MACHINE NEEDLE or PIN [to make central hole in flower shapes]
MOULDING TOOLS to shape flowers
MOUSE MAT to shape flowers on
POLYSTYRENE OR OASIS [to hold stems in while you are working]
Always seal top of wire with small blob of
TACKY GLUE and leave to dry.Seal ends of wire with glue
if paper starts to unravelShape flowers & leaves on a mouse mat BEFORE
attaching to stemUse FINE SCISSORS to:
CUT PETALS in flower heads where indicated
Cut a fraction off the leaf stalk to make it easier to attach to stem
Use FINE TIPPED TWEEZERS:
a) To slide flower head up the stem…
b) To shape & mould
flower heads
c) To tease flower petals into shape
d) To attach leaves to stem
e) To place finished flower
in pot/vase
